These Terms and Conditions govern your booking and stay at Covelet Test, a shortlet apartment operated by Covelet Test. By making a booking, you agree to these terms.
1. Booking & Payment
- All bookings are confirmed only upon successful payment.
- Prices are quoted in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless otherwise stated.
- A cleaning fee applies (the amount for each apartment is shown on the booking page). A refundable caution/security deposit (the amount for each apartment is shown on the booking page) is added to all bookings.
- The total amount is due at the time of booking.
2. Check-in & Check-out
- Check-in: from 2:00 PM
- Check-out: by 12:00 PM (noon)
- A valid government-issued ID is required at check-in.
- The full address and access instructions are provided 48 hours before check-in via email.
3. Maximum Occupancy
The apartment accommodates a maximum of 2 guests. Additional guests or visitors are not permitted without prior approval.
4. Caution / Security Deposit
- A caution deposit (the amount for each apartment is shown on the booking page) is collected with every booking.
- The deposit is refundable within 48 hours of checkout, subject to a satisfactory apartment inspection.
- Deductions may be made for damage, missing items, excessive cleaning, or violation of house rules.
5. Cancellation Policy
- 7+ days before check-in: The accommodation total, cleaning fee and add-ons are refunded, plus the caution deposit returned in full.
- Less than 7 days before check-in: The accommodation total, cleaning fee and add-ons are not refunded. The caution deposit is still returned in full.
- Stays with at least one night in Standard nightly rate (Jan 1, 2025 – Dec 31, 2030): Cancellations must be made at least 14 days before check-in for a refund.
- Stays with at least one night in Daily Price (Dec 1, 2026 – Jan 9, 2027): Cancellations must be made at least 14 days before check-in for a refund.
- Stays with at least one night in Festive season (Dec 15, 2026 – Jan 5, 2027): Cancellations must be made at least 14 days before check-in for a refund.
- No-shows are non-refundable.
6. House Rules
- No smoking inside the apartment.
- No parties, events, or loud gatherings.
- No pets.
- Guests are responsible for keeping the apartment in reasonable condition during their stay.
- Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM (estate regulation).
- The private garden is for guest use only — please do not damage the AstroTurf or plantings.
7. Damage & Liability
Guests are liable for any damage caused during their stay. Costs exceeding the caution deposit will be invoiced to the guest. Covelet Test is not responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings.
8. Minimum Stay
- Weekday stays (Sun–Thu check-in): 1 night minimum.
- Weekend stays (Fri/Sat check-in): 1 night minimum.
- Daily Price (Dec 1, 2026 – Jan 9, 2027): 3 nights minimum.
- Festive season (Dec 15, 2026 – Jan 5, 2027): 2 nights minimum.
- Festive season (Dec 15, 2026 – Jan 5, 2027): 2 nights minimum.
- Festive season (Dec 15, 2026 – Jan 5, 2027): 2 nights minimum.
- Festive season (Dec 15, 2026 – Jan 5, 2027): 2 nights minimum.
- Festive season (Dec 15, 2026 – Jan 5, 2027): 2 nights minimum.
9. Force Majeure
Covelet Test is not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, civil unrest, government actions, or severe weather. In such cases, we will offer rebooking or credit at our discretion.
10. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
